This Week's Scripture Prayers

"Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints."

Ephesians 5:1-3

The life that God promises to us that He paid for at the cross, freely offers us many blessings and clearly demands of us many things. Our prayers for the upcoming weeks will focus on some of these blessings and commands.

ADULT PRAYER: Help me, Father, to watch what You do and then to do it like a child who learns how to behave from its parents. I want to keep company with You and learn a life of love. You give everything of Yourself to us. I want to learn how to live LOVE like that. I thank You in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR CHILDREN: Dear God, I want to learn how to watch for You and see what You are doing. I want You to show me what it means to be a loving person. I will wait patiently for You to help me, for You hear me when I call out to You. In Jesus' name, amen.
