This Week's Scripture Prayers

“O God, you know my folly;

the wrongs I have done are not hidden from you.

Let not those who hope in you be put to shame through me,

O Lord God of hosts; . . .

But as for me, my prayer is to you, O Lord.

At an acceptable time, O God,

in the abundance of your steadfast love answer me in your saving faithfulness.”

(Psalm 69:5-6,13)

How wonderful it is to discover the truth of God’s presence in our lives, not simply as a statement we affirm, but as A LIVING REALITY . . .

GOD KNOWS ME.

GOD LOVES ME.

GOD ACCEPTS ME.

GOD IS HELPING ME.

ADULT PRAYER: O God, You know me so well. You know all my sins. O Lord, don’t let me ever be a stumbling block to those who trust in You. Don’t let me cause others to be confused. Strengthen me to trust in Your love and kindness. Answer my prayer and rescue me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

PRAYER FOR CHILDREN: Dear God, You know me so well. You know all the bad things I do and say. I want to tell You that I am sorry and that I trust You to help me to be a better person. I am so glad that You love me and never give up on me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
