Scripture Prayers for the Week

“Because your steadfast love is better than life,

my lips will praise you.

So I will bless you as long as I live;

in your name I will lift up my hands.

My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food,

and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips,

when I remember you upon my bed,

and meditate on you in the watches of the night. . .”

Psalm 63:3-6

This week we will thank God for His faithfulness. HE ALONE is the Faithful One, my rock, my rescuer, my defense, and my fortress.

ADULT PRAYER: O God, My God, Your love and kindness are better to me than life itself. How I praise You! I will bless You as long as I live. I will praise You with great joy! I rejoice through the night beneath the protecting shadow of Your wings. I will rejoice in You. In the name of Jesus, I bring my praise. Amen.

PRAYER FOR CHILDREN: Dear God, as long as I live I will praise You. I will bless You. Even when life seems hard to me, You are with me, loving me and protecting me. I rejoice in You! Because of Jesus I can pray to You. Amen.
