"Renewal"

Renew me, Father, day by day,

In all my words, in all my ways;

That I’ll be more like You, I pray,

May love be mine to give away,

To all I meet throughout this day;

"...just as truth is in Jesus, that, in reference to your former manner of life you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth"

(Ephesians 4:21-24).

Thoughts to ponder:

"RENEWAL" - the replacing or repair of something that is worn out, run-down, or broken.

- Are the words I speak a blessing to others?

- Do my words encourage people and express the love of Christ to them?

- Who do I give love to?

- Do I love beyond the usual boundaries?

- How do I love others?

- How often? Daily?

- Do I choose to walk in God's ways?

- Are there areas in my life where I need to turn and get back on God's path?

- Am I going to be able to face Jesus without regrets?

- Are there sorrows that I need to face and deal with?

- Do I truly desire to become more like Jesus day by day?

"Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me"

(Psalms 51:10).

As a child of God, may I praise and trust God for the RENEWAL that HE brings into my life!
